Love them! Looking forward to giving them a good home
Well I certainly learned a lot from this project. The most important is a great way to give a figure eyeglasses. I am going to try a few variations with that on some of my 1/20.3 figures later this year. I am equally impressed with how much more difficult it was to paint details in 1/24th scale. I would have thought that was a non-player but I feel there was much more effort involved than expected. That said, I think the low definition to the detail was a significant factor.
At .25 $ each these figures are good cheap fodder for those of you leery about using more expensive models for improving your kit-bashing or custom painting skills. If you have been thinking about jumping into this aspect of the hobby then the price is a good reason to try. I will be using some of these figures as the basis for this year’s Mik prizes. We will see how that goes.
The only real drawback I see with these figures is the limited number of poses and body part sources. I think it would be worth customizing a few of the men’s heads for casting to help provide variety. I do not think I will bother with casting arms or legs as the cost and work load is greater than just buying a big sack of the plastic figures.
My thanks to Aaron for letting me use him as a crash test dummy. He only cried a little. If anybody else would like to be the punching bag for one of my projects (complete with derisive comments) message me and I will put you on the list. Just remember Boomer’s rule #1: You are here for my entertainment.

Big deal. I won’t be impressed until you give them contacts.

Well… I think I will just sit here and wait for Sean to catch up. Maybe I will go read that really cool thread titled “Boomer’s Prize Figures for Mik’s 2018 Build Challenge” …
I know your already doing him …but you could do a crazier version … for another prize …you did say it’s easer doing them together… (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

I thought Rooster was crazy enough already, you probably mean a more sane version.

ONE rooster is about all this place could handle…(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)
What a coincidence that Ken should say that. Yesterday I received a registered letter from the SPKC (Society for the Prevention of Kindness to Chickens) reminding me that this place is limited to one “Rooster” by international law. Now ain’t that the darnedest thing you ever heard of?
It also included a great recipe for chicken and dumplings…
