Looking for an Accucraft Flanger (gray)

I’m looking for an Accucraft D&RGW flanger in the gray mow paint scheme. If you have one you might be willing to sell, or know of one out there available for sale you can contact me at:

Thanks,

Matt

Yeah I know it will be a tough search. But I’ve finally saved up enough (yeah I also know what they go for nowadays) in the train fund to get one.

Hoping someone has a shelf queen that they might like to sell to someone who they know will treat her nicely and put her to good work.

And here’s wishful thinking. I’m working on some flanger signs for the layout:

I know where there is one for sale…Grey. At least it was a couple of months ago.

PM sent.

No joy on Mark’s lead (http://yoursmiles.org/bsmile/sad/b0413.gif)

But thanks for the lead. The hunt is still on.

Matt… I don’t think that it will work very well on pine nettles, but you could give it a try, maybe some brushes on the bottom of the wings…

And whenever I see one sell for $900, I ponder selling mine…

Would a spreader do the job?

The spreader is an awesome model. But I think it being a larger model in 1:20.3 would stick out on my 1:22.5 layout. The flanger is a relatively small model so the 1:20.3 scale won’t stick out as much on my layout.

I bought mine (red) at Charles Ro supply - Malden Mass - He might still have some…

Got one

Some pics of the flanger with Bachmann caboose #0503:

The steam loco (C-16 #278) that normally is on this display track is in the shops for a battery swap…NiCad to Lithium-Ion.

Matt, Looks great… I hear there is snow in your cabins front yard! Going to run up and give it a test?

I still don’t think that it will do worth a damm on all those pine needles. It will push the pine cones out of the way.

Thanks Dave.

I’m in Southern California now. No flanger extras planned just yet. However I might be out to the cabin in mid January. So maybe then depending on the snow level.

I hope we do get a nice amount of snow this year. Sure could use it to help recharge the water table.

A very nice model. I’m envious.
