Very kewl !!! I’d prefer less music and more steam sounds, but that’s just me

Took a little sleuthing, but they are in Southern California, near Santa Maria (North of LA).

WOW!!! cool video…

Santa Maria is actually in Central California, its about 3 hours north of LA.

It looked like the southern half on my map. But what do I know, I'm a Right Coaster :)

Alright! About 2 hours from my home. Next narrow gauge meet August 3-5. I’m there!

A shay like that could get me into 7 1/2 gauge… Wow

I have admired that setup several times in the past.

The ride-on stuff is great fun, quite a few people do it locally where I live.

Speaking of which, does anyone remember what TV show (or movie) theme song that is or was? I recognize the music and have been running through a list of the old westerns that used to be on TV, but so far nothing comes to mind except "The Big Valley" and I found out it's not that one.

Never mind, finally found it. "The Magnificent Seven:…

Ken, 5000 posts! No wonder your senior moments are running together!

What senior moments?..

Didn’t they also use that same music in a beef commercial a few years back ?

And speaking of ride-on stuff…

We had our community picnic yesterday and I was talking with my diagonal neighbor. He told me the guy across the street who passed had a ride-on LS loco at one time. I never knew that as I only got to know him late in his life after he sold it. Darn!!!

Yes I believe that song was in a beef commercial… This is a guy that is local to me and makes his own stuff…
