Nice pictures Cale. Good detail shots too! Man those things are really low slung. Guess it paid to keep the center of gravity low as possible on rough logging roads.

This was a needed reminder that the COF is still on my to do list.

I knew absolutely nothing of “The Cradle of Forestry”, until it was introduced to me by a group of friends from the Canada and east of here. What a great place! The equipment is in good shape and you can measure it, climb on it and take pcitures all you want. It is on a hiking trail, so you have to walk there to get there and it is worth every step. Plus the isolated, natural setting gives it a real natural feeling. Well, only natural so far, because I don’t think that equipment ever operated in such a green, plush forest.

Well worth the trip!!!

Beutiful pics thanks for sharing. Aren’t they building an engine shed at one end of that? I thought I saw a picture of that somewhere.

Boy, that looks almost real! What scale did you use, Cale? Was is 1:20.3 or the easier 1:24? :lol: :stuck_out_tongue: :smiley:
