Jon looking forward to having you over this Sunday. Bring something to run. Maybe that live steamer of yours.

Shawn,
These photographs are wonderful!!! A very nice and inspiring logging layout. Keep up the great work…it is impressive.
Doc Tom
The the crew finally got the flat car detailed up and the steam Donkey loaded. Now they can transport the steam donkey where its needed. (in real life it serves as my battery car) They guys bought the steam Donkey because it would have cost them more in parts if they built it from scratch.
Looks great Shawn, but you need a little ballast over those feed wires in the bottom shot I’m still impressed that you have a FLAT as a battery car !!
Only problem I see with the first picture of the battery flat car is that someone needs to send out a maintenence crew, to re-rail the front wheel of the car…
looks good, shawn…
Nice. Is that an Ozark Miniatures kit?
Ken Brunt said:Thanks Its one of the Bachmann steam donkeys. Of course a weathered it up and added real wood to the skids.

So, where’d’ja hide the battery, in the fuel tank?
I admire your work. BZ.

Thanks Steve. The battery is attached to the bottom of the flat. I built the flat from scratch. The plug was changed to a smaller one.
Good place for it. Adds a little weight to the car…
Nice!!!
Last night I made another smaller scene. I got a woodlans scenic figure with a campfire. I made a little makeshift backwoods campsite. Like everything else its a work in progress.

It looks as good or better in person as it does in pictures. The railroad is loaded with great scenes and even though it is located in his front yard near the house, there are numerous view blocks that allow for some great photos. As usual I took so many it will take me a day or so to sort through them and get something posted.
There was a very diverse group of equipment operated yesterday including a few firsts for the Kittatinny Mountain. You’ll see what I’m talking about once the pictures are up.
Thanks Jon. It was great to have you and your wife over. The day turned out very nice for running trains and just talking with everyone. Anytime you want to came back just give me a call. Cant wait to see your pictures.
Here is the web site for our club. Its a new club 2 years old.

Very nice “woodsy” picture. Those Woodland Scenics guys are great…a lot of expression. Keep up the good work!!! Fellow Hillbilly logger, Doc Tom
