Large Scale Central

Loco Carrier Revisted

So I was looking for 0-4-0 saddle tank loco ideas and came across this picture. This is a serious loco carrier.

Too big!

I can a lot more in my pickup when there in 1:29 scale! (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

If i am going to go bigger than 1:20.3 I want to go big enough that my train can carry my truck.(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Doesn’t everybody do this?

Pretty much how I load my stuff.

Gary,

I love the industrial rolling rack to hold your stuff. What scale is that. I love it but Some how I don’t think that will fit in my 10’X50’ space in my yard.

One-eighth scale. 1-1/2 inches per foot, Runs on 7-1/2 inch gauge track. The Baldwin electric weighs 350 pounds with batteries.

Devon, just build a switching layout!

What with one switch. I guess If I put one in at each end I could call it a loop. Drive forward up one switch and rive it backwards down the other swich and head back up again.(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)
