Brian, Quite the roster. I’m feeling woefully inadequate this morning  My lone loco bash, the former RC Cola up-size. Ralph

What fun! You guys have done some great models.

My first bash was from the Bachmann 45 ton diesel. The price was so good I couldn’t resist getting one, even though I had no desire for it.

This one started off as an Annie. The BBT drive was installed. New cab, boiler, and tender were constructed to bring it up to 1:20.

A Mogul from an Annie. I never was pleased with this, so it became a parts donor.

I got a “Stomper” from Jon Radder and created this inspection car. I also made the driver.

This one started as a Bachmann Railtruck and was inspired by the EBT motor car M-3.

I have seen one or two of these pics before but they and the newer ones to me, are well worth seeing again. Lovely craftsmanship by all concerned.

This is the only Critter I built this year the rest were structures

Yes Dave you are quite the critter

Cool idea… All my models are 1:20.3 unless noted. The links point to builders logs and more photos. Tuscarora RR #1 (Kitbashed Accucraft Ruby)

From the distant archives: A critter based on a small Plymouth(?) critter that was at the Edaville RR 1:24ish

and a quasi-RGS Goose #6 1:24ish (the car is 1:24, at least)

There have been a few others–some still around, some long since scrapped–but photos are proving elusive. Currently in the shops: East Broad Top #3 (Barry’s Big Trains 2-8-0 chassis, modified Bachmann 2-6-0 boiler) (Photo to come) Tuscarora Valley #2 (post wreck) (Bachmann 2-6-0 chassis with new boiler, cab, and tender) (Photo to come) Tuscarora RR M-4 (Bachmann Davenport) plus others as the mood strikes… Later, K

I too am feeling inadequate in this category. I’ve only attempted one build that might qualify as a loco or critter, and it has yet to be completed. It does run, as proven in 2006 on the IPP&W. This is a Stomper powered free-lance model track inspection car…

Hmm. Lets see. Here’s my Connie with mods. Moved the cab back, changed the cylinders. lowered the tender and added hungry boards, air tank, and piping.
