Loading a photo to freight shed?

Has the uploading sequence changed since the site has been upgraded?

I used to take a photo, resize it to 500x333 and place it on my desk top. In the freight shed I would click upload which opened a browse section. I click browse which opened a window, found the sized photo from my desktop clicked on it which put the URL in the browse window then clicked upload to put it into the freight shed. Done.

Now when I click upload I am redirected to a screen with several lines of code at the top and largescalecentral forum tabs below ??

How do I upload a photo now to the freight shed?

My freight shed is working just like it always did. I just uploaded this picture of my Alco S4…

I just tried it again and it didn’t work. I can post photos from the freight shed that are already there but I can’t add anymore?
My freight shed is at 87% capacity so I have more space to use and the photo size I’m trying to add is only 500x333…

Todd,

The pixel size (500x333) is not what matters. The file size does. Perhaps the file you are trying to upload is larger than your available space remaining.

It’s working for me too Todd. I doubt that photo could take up 13% of your space - even if you only have the free 10Mb space that would be over 1Mb.

I tried deleting a photo to make more room and that is not working either? I have a lot of “X” where there should be icons but I clicked on one which prompts a delete or cancel confirmation tab, click delete and the screen goes grey? I guess I have a weird bug.

What browser are you running?

Todd,

What browser are you using? I suggest clearing it’s history and then restarting your computer to see if that helps. Sounds like it’s really FUBAR’d Cry

Im using Firefox with no issues

I am on Internet Explorer. I was able to try another computer which was using Mozilla I think and I was able to go in and delete some photos in the freight shed and gone were the many “X” that were where icons should have been. Also gone were the many “X” that I still see next to peoples names on my laptop.

I will try a different browser on my laptop.

Todd,

I have found Mozilla Firefox to be about the most user friendly browser. When I began my online education at now two different universities I found firefox to be far more reliable when exchanging files and posting to forums. I still used IE for most things but when I started here I used IE and it was not interfacing well. I switched to Firefox and have had no issues. You can have both on your computer so its not to big a deal. The more I use Firefox the less I feel the need to use IE

My wife got firefox working on my laptop and now this site is working and I can post photos. YAAAH

Thanks guys for all the help and Thanks Bob for a nice website.
