Live Steam Mikado Fall Run

I finally got the new battery in the Mike’s tender. Once charged I dug out all the live steam stuff to run the Aristo LS Mike for the first time in over a year, I believe. Been awhile anyway. Fired right up real smooth and once up to steam ran well. Was rough on my old brain to remember everything to do to it. I had a good time and took lots of pix, plus this video. This live steam can wear on an old guy though. All the stuff to get out, then put away.

Nice plumes.

Nice plumes indeed.(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

I like it Jerry. Sounds real nice. I kind of like fussing with all of the things it takes to run live steam. I guess that’s why I don’t run sparkies. All that stuff starts to become habit once you do it regularly. Glad you got to enjoy it and share it with us.

Thanks guys. It has a Summerlands Chuffer in it, which really enhances the sound and experience. I put one in my Accucraft Mogul also. Cheap way to get good sound from them.

Well worth your effort for us! Nice action and plum, do miss my live steam at this time of the year.

Looks good Jerry. Always like watching the Mik steam. Smooth runners.

Thanks for posting Jerry. glad to see you got it up and running. I have not run mine in a year also guess I’d better get with the program. Hard to believe these locos are 10 years old. Later RJD

Wow, 10 years. Mine is first run model.
