Live steam in the cold 8F

I woke up this morning to a temp of 4 degrees Fahrenheit. I took the kids to school and had a some time to kill before work. What does one do. Most would sit by the warm fire with a cup of coffee. Not me. I decided it would be a perfect time to test out my Cricket in the cold using butane. I got the cricket fueld and lubed up indoors. Then it was time to fire it up and see if it would run. To my suprise it did. Not perfect but hey for 8 degrees thats not too bad It struggled on my two grades but if my track was level all the way around it would have ran fine. I did one run with it and shot a short video.
Yes I know Im crazy lol

Crazy? Then welcome to the cuckoo’s nest! I call that dedication, not craziness, and cry out from the rooftops to all the other crazies out there, “Good for Shawn!”

God only knows what any nearby neighbour, had they been watching, may have thought of you and your performance. Had I been your neighbour, I’d have thought you inspired!

On second thought we might all be mad, mightn’t we? Aah, what lovely madness…

Just plain nuts is more like it…but I did enjoy the video…(in front of my nice, warm fireplace…)

Nice going Shawn. I don’t think you are crazy. I would do it too, and I know I’m not crazy because my mother had me tested!

That’s cool; no wait that’s COLD
