Hi Guys,
I need a little assistance. The sliders on an LGB Mogal, how do you access them to repair. One droops with no spring tension, I assume they are supposed to have down tension, and the other is jammed in the up position and won’t move.
Any help appreciated.

Remove the motor plate from the bottom of the loco.
6 screws. If they aren’t the same length, remember where which one goes back.
If you need to remove the sliders to check them, then lift off the buss bar. Remember how it lies, it has to go back exactly the same way.
The two little buss bars that go into the sliders need to be lifted and the slider will lift right out.
Now you can clean the slider sides and springs. There may be some other parts needed to be checked. I’m writing this from memory: been years since I worked on one.

Thanks, that’s just the way it was, and the way I did it.
Every thing is fine now the springs were bad.
