Greg,

Seems like his stuff has been on Ebay for way over a year now. I purchased a few items early on. Lately the items for sale are not as near interesting as a few months ago. I have been wondering what is going on with the layout.

Watch this video from ten years ago and you get the idea that maybe Dennis has waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more trains than he can run! I think I bought some stuff off him a while back too. (Of course, I’m not the kind of guy who buys way too much stuff…no no no no no.)

I was there in person John and wandered through the stacks of trains. Yes, it’s pretty common knowledge he had way more than he could run.

I was just posting because they are making videos for what they are selling, I’ve never seen that big Accucraft running… nicer than just static pictures.

On the disposition of the layout, what I have heard is he is selling that house and property, and the new owner will use the layout.

p.s. I did see the same as you did Todd, he had a person in the “booth” up on the side of the house, where all the controls for the turnouts were… He was running around with a walkie talkie issuing orders. He was continually yelling at the guy. I went up to the booth and found the issue, Dennis released the push to talk button prematurely on EVERY transmission… thus the poor guy, clearly an employee, could not make heads or tails of most commands… I went down below and stood next to Dennis to visually confirm and I could see him releasing the PTT button while he was still speaking. He was so irritated that I did not think it wise to try to help him.
