Has anyone bought this Lionel 42908 HOGWARTS-G-BATTERY-SET ? Thoughts ?

Thoughts? To me those sets appear to be just toys. The wheels are plastic, and the locomotive doesn’t have much power. The Polar Express set, another Lionel set available, has coaches that are too short, and the locomotive appears to be too small. I have thought that maybe these sets could be an inexpensive starting point for a kit-bash, but I have too many projects now to seriously consider such an undertaking.
Thems my thoughts. For what they are worth.
The biggest problem with Lionel G stuff is the controller requires constant line of sight to operate, if the train goes into a tunnel or around a large hill or simply gets too far away and loses signal, it slows down to a stop. LGBs recent battery set also has this issue. They did it so children could not walk away leaving the train running.
