Lights on turntable, something I'd not thought about

Lights on a turntable fixture is something I’d not ever thought about.

Note light mounted just below bend in electrical arch and how it is shining on long hood, http://www.railpictures.net/photo/610184/

It’s early evening on a cold winter’s day in Hinton, WV as former C&O GP40-2, 4386, takes a spin on the turntable.

Forrest, thanks a lot! (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)Now I have just one more detail to work out on my future turntable. If this keeps up, I will just Devon it to death and never build it.

Interesting point, Forrest, thanks. Here’s some similar ones.

Now that is an interesting way of extending the turntable for longer locomotives.

That is interesting. And what’s the thing on posts at ends?

An alarm bell, I think.

The engineer must have had some serious skills to back it up onto that thing, right up to the very edge.
