Went by the LHS this past Sat.
I was looking for an agent to blacken some Brass on our Fireplace insert. They didn’t have it, but I did buy my first real “in the box” piece of rolling stock. It is a BMann “Big Haulers” SPC Box Car.
I plan on modeling in 1:20.3 so I know this thing is wayyyyy of base, but I really wanted to buy a car to begin playing with RC/Batt stuff.
OK-who cares, I tell you that to tell you this…
It had 2 price stickers on it.
$52.99 was the orig. price OUCH!
$31.99 was “sale” price.
No wonder this guys sells nearly No large Scale stuff!
I figured that the price was close, maybe even a few $ cheaper than a single car order, so I brought it home…
And they wonder why we order everything off the 'Net.
