Made in China.
Overall as good as their German models in appearance only.
Comes with lighted interior, three lights. Practically useless unless you run the loco at Lionel Top Speed. I like to move locos slow and realistic, so the lights don’t even come on. Must be 24 volt bulbs. Maybe they would work at full brilliance with MTS, I dunno… Why they didn’t put in a regulator like they do in their fine Euro passenger cars, I’ll never know.
But LGB has to know not every customer used MTS and never will…
I took out the lights and replaced the wheel sets with black steel wheels.

John, they basicly did the same thing with the Genesis. It has to be going at “warp 9” before the headlights will come on.

Cost cutting… a bulb is cheaper than a circuit board and regulator and a led.
