LGB's Mini Vanderbilt Tender Engines

Okay, there are three engines that were equipped with this tender… a C&O 0-4-0, a GN 0-4-0 and an SP 4-6-0.

Is there anyone with any of these engine who also has a camera and could provide many high-res images of the tender? I managed to get a lead to LGB personel, and the parts diagram for this unit was never made. The problem lays in that I was able to purchase almost all the parts for this unit from Axel’s friends*, but am having difficulty in assembly. Once I get the tender done, I can begin hacking together a matching “vanteen” water tender. (*that doesn’t sound like a mob-euphemism does it?)

The other detail that changed was on the engines… the C&O and GN units had different front ends… a switcher-like pilot instead of the more thru-freight like pilot on the 2-4-0’s. Again, this section wasn’t diagrammed so trying to duplicate it is darn near impossible without laying my hands on a unit.

Between the price for the parts and the difficulties in assembly, I’m beginning to wish I had just gotten one of the complete units and butchered it. But no, I had to respect the completed model and try to do this the most difficult way I could think of.

In any case, if anyone can/would be willing to help out, you would have my eternal gratitude, not to mention a willingness to return the favor if I can.

Jason; This is probably not much help, but it is the best view I have of my LGB Vandy tender. The locomotive was originally the C&O 0-4-0.
