"LGB" trademark ownership in print?

Here’s an HJ request for translation into English:

From the inside back page of the 2008 PIKO “G” model train catalogue, which lists their world-wide distributors, and given out at the Big Train Show at the Silvergate counter, is the following note at the bottom of the page:

LGB ist ein eingetragenes Warenzeichnen der Gebr. Marklin & Cie. GmbH, Betriebsstatte Nurnberg (LGB).

Is the translation into “G-speak” the sole ownership of the LGB trademark resides in Germany with Marklin?

Possibly ironic, on that same page of 18 PIKO distributor listings is:
USA/Canada
LGB of America
San Diego Ca 92121-2296 USA
858-795-0700

Translated:

LGB is a Registered Trademark of Gebr. etc. etc.

Dr.Wilfer wouldn’t want to give cause for lawsuits, best to keep things on the straight and narrow. :wink:

The ironic part: Is it possible they couldn’t get the little stickers to cover-up LGBoA with Silvergate Distributors in time for the show or they were short of personnel? :wink: :slight_smile:
