What?
Bickering?
Hell, I’ve been too busy on the railroad to hardly look.
Who’s at it now?
Greg,
One thing that I find “interesting”: some of those who are “quite active” in the LGB debate, have absolutely nothing to contribute, or haven’t so far anyway, when it comes to train topics. Isn’t that a bit peculiar? Perhaps it isn’t part of the “mission”?
Then there are people who are convinced that some other people “want LGB to fail”.
Hmmmmmmmmm let’s see, didn’t LGB fail when the Richters reported for insolvency because they couldn’t satisfy the loans that came due at the end of Aug 2006? Add to that the failed rescue by Schöntag and LGB has failed twice. That’s how the sources in Germany phrase it; are they too close to see that this is in “reality” a “hostile takeover”? Or is it their lack of rose-coloured glasses? OTOH it could be some others who need a reality check!
Let’s hope that this “Gordian knot” gets untangled before there is nothing left to rescue!
Perhaps it will be like “Jarndyce & Jarndyce” in the Dickens story, “Bleak House?”
Well I think I have this all figured out. what’s really going on is one of the other big two is going to buy LGB ! And start a lower and higher quality line of products, kind of like Ford or Chevy. Ok, now go run with it.
