I am looking for a Hartland Jupiter 4-4-0. I want to change our garden railway from Austrian theme to the wild west. I have a 2020 LGB stainz with the 2 passenger cars starter set (no track or transformer) but the original box is there. I also added the blue 2 axle austrian blue dining car to the set. I also have 2 of the Newquida 2-6-2T LGB knockoffs one being new in the box. I also have one building, a 2 story Pola German station that is currently outside on the layout. The layout is heavly shaded all summer long so there really isnt any sun fading to speak of. Layout is only 1 year old. I would also be looking for some cars for the 4-4-0 to pull. Will trade individual items or the whole lot depending on what you might have.
I would also be interested in an older Kalamazoo 4-4-0 with the baloon style stack. Mike
Possible deal in progress still, standby. Mikie
Stainz starter set, and extra blue diner car are spoken for, thanks Dennis. The two harz engines and the station are still avaible. Mike
Ok, Here is whats left, the Pola 2 story station building and the 2 Newquida Harz Railway engines. I also have 2 of the Bavarian unlighted semaphores that are not pictured, I have the boxes for them as wel. Here is the wish list, 1 Right hand R1 or R2 turnout, Straight track and a complete circle of R2 curved, I will have most of the R1 avaible for trade or sale once I get the R2 and the ground thaws. I belive the R2 will fit in my area. I want to expand the loop around the pond and add a siding at the left side for the stock car loading pens. Used track is fine, all my current track is LGB, would like to keep it that way if possible, track can be dirty and heavly tarnished, thats fine.
I currently hve a hartland juipiter 4-4-0 and 5 Kalamazoo, Denver and Rio Grande sierra short coaches (yellow black stripes) The locomotive has 10 minutes operation time on it. The cars are in good condition with some run time. I run a children’s model RR and train safety program and we need an LGB locomotive to pull our circus train for the kids to operate. We are also short on structures and this building would be colorful and appealing to the kids. The newquidas would pull our 37 car circus train well. It is hard to part with the juipiter, but is a possibility. I will make no comitments until I speak with you. I don’t mind allowing this as a trade as long as both of us are content with it. If we do this, a lot of kids will enjoy this for years to come. You can contact me, Mon. thru Fri. from 9:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. or Sat and Sun from 2:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. at (406)431-6121 The juipiter is an extremely hard locomotive to part wtih but I am willing to discuss the possibilities. Jupiter has the box, passenger cars do not. 1 car is a combine. Thanks, hope to speak with you soon as possible. Kenneth Mathews c/o Imagination Station, Kids on Track model RR and safety program, E. Kenneth, those harz 2-6-2T’s are not LGB, they are the chinese knock offs, and I doubt one would pull that big a train, even with both of then. Mikie
What kind of drive train do they have in them? Also how many cars have you pulled with them in the past. What would you ask for the station? Give me a call if you want at the above number. Ken
I havent pulled any cars with them, they are much lighter in weight than the LGB and have plastic wheels, They might do ok with 3-4 coaches or cars and a full charge on the battery. The motor is a nice size can motor with worm gears on each end that drive the axle gears. I do not wish to ship the station, to expensive and to easily damaged due to its size. Thanks Mike
how much do you want for the station if we pay to have it properly packed and shippe? We need structures and this is nice one. Ken
