Good for him! Does it get him anywhere other than from A to B or whatever place he wants to go?
It gets him a ticket everytime he sits in the cockpit…
Tim Brien said:Why bother, you can't get parts for them, might as well buy Bachman.
Refer Ridge Road Station for prices on selected LGB items, reduced to below 2006 'firesale' levels. Some bargains available.
Tony,
when one lives the other side of the world then Bachmann parts are as scarce as LGB parts. Not much can go wrong with rolling stock.
Yeh, cars is cars. It’s the enjuns that you need to be just a teence wary about.

Good for him but ask him if he enjoys driving it and never getting it out of third gear If he driving it in 5th and hasnt had his license revocked then its bee tuned down to the point where its not gonna be much better than the vette, thats the problem with “super cars” there only super on the Autobahn or a race track, there not much more than eye candy everywhere else. I’ll take one of these anyday, sexy and very drivable for the US

The funny thing is that we kinda already have one, in the guise of a Toyota MR2 Spyder, (wifes car) which the Lotus shares the same engine and I think same drivetrain.
The Lotus are cool there is at least one here in Nashvegas.
And yes, the Ferrari has been through the gears. Eastern TN has plenty of places to “run”. Anyone that has driven through Roan County will know what I mean
Victor, did you receive my e-mail with photos?
Yes I did, thanks, I know its a great engine but I think I’m going to have to let it go, I just bought 2 Macks recently and I cannot justify the additional $$ for the LGB switcher.
As it is I think I need to reduce the number of engines I have, I have just completelty run out of storage space indoors and out. So I will be selling or long term storing some of the larger engines that dont work so well on the layout.
Vic,
Put them up as “one of a kind” and see what happens!
I was thinking more about dumping the boring stuff like my North Pole & Southern Big Hauler and keeping the unique ones, I’ve seen how EvilBay treats “one of a kind” items
Vic,
list them on evilbay as ‘rare and collectable’ handmade items. Should attract interest.
yeah, drop the price by 20%
Its really amazing how much the selling price drops once something has been modified. I guess they figure the more original an item is, the less its been used…
HJ, if you expand you’re range a bit, there are some great deals. I just saw the “Snoopy Surfer” and the “Peanuts Motorcycle” for about 70% off!
