Does anyone, maybe Rooster, have a file or picture or link showing the interior of the P42 Genesis loco,
particularly, the chassis - not just the body shell? I would like to see it.

I have several of them however I never really had the need to gut one myself and only modify for the look I want. I run track power and battery/sound is kinda expensive for what I do and like. But it might happen in the next couple years once life stops getting in the way.

I use track power, too. The P42 is factory equipped with a DCC decoder, but works OK on simple DC track power.
I’ve been working on doing body mount CamPac boxes for the P42 which makes the loco more like USA Trains offerings and more realistic. So far the front coupler is done - still working on the rear.

Yes as I mentioned in the description. CamPac boxes are small foot print - not like the large Kadee 906s
