LGB Mogul #23192 Smoke Stack/Replacemen?

I have an LGB 2-6-0 Mogul, with a smoke stack that is slightly distoted from “overheating” from a smoke unit. In this engine I apparently failed to put fluid in the smoke stack unit & it became slightly distorted from it. Has anyone ever replaced a smoke stack? Are they available as parts for
the LGB moguls?

Ed,
LGB locos are designed to run without smoke fluid. I don’t think that is what distorted your stack.
They are a b*&^% to replace. The ones I’ve worked on are thoroughly glued in.
You may have to retro-fit another replacement. Ozark Miniatures makes a few, as well as Trackside Details.

Thanks for the reply, appreciate it much. We are in a heat wave here in South Jersey, hopefully it will be over soon. Yesterday, temperature was around 100 degrees! I think the humidity was about the same.
