LGB Mikado 25872 hall sensor board question

Hello,
I’m converting a LGB Mikado to Railpro. I found the hall sensor board. It has two hall sensor chips up at the top and six pins out at the bottom.
Pic here

As far as I can tell, the pinout for the chip itself is ground, signal, positive.
I think - but am not certain - that the pinout for the board is, counting from left to right:
1 - signal chip 1
2 - ground
3 - signal chip 2
4 - ground (connected to pin 2)
5 - dunno
6 - power
Can anybody shed some light on this? I’m nervous about getting power and ground backwards and blowing up the board.
Is this a standard LGB part or is it Mikado-only?

Thanks!

Hi Algae, I’m sorry I can’t answer your question but welcome aboard. And keep posting!

what is a hall sensor?

i’m with Cliff in that.

but be welcome.

(sure enough there will be enough counsel shortly by the sparky corps)

Korm,
A hall sensor is basically a square wave pattern on off switch .

by now you should know, that i understand the explication not.
(hereabouts we still use a hammer to turn off the light)

i just tried to be friendly to the new poster.

ps: do you know, where to get a reserve key for my clockwork loco?
