I have the original DOTS caboose and it came with interior lights and metal wheels (LGB ball bearing wheels for power pickup). Great looking caboose, I just wish there was an appropiate engine available to run this. The Ice cream (Davenport Good Humor with caboose Bryers) set had additonal popsicle cars available. Aristo did make some candy (reeses pieces for one) cars and had several Hershey cars but no big engines that I remember, just the 0-4-0 and slope back tender.

They had an RS3 and a Little Critter as well

Great, the RS3 would pull a nice consist of candy related cars.

Sweet.

You didn’t say trick -or-treat.

I had no idea they made this one. I have never seen it, or one for sale. Must be VERY RARE.

They came out with a few Hershey’s cars and locomotives. I have the Hershey covered hopper. I am not sure that there were popular though.

I’d put them right up there with The Teddy Bear Line(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)

Gentlemen,

In my opinion the Hershey’s stuff was quite popular in turn it’s rarity.

John,

I myself have never seen the Teddy Bear Line do you have pictures of such?

I have one of the teddy bears, still sealed in its bag. It was on the clearance table. That’s the only reason I bought it.

I bought a couple of sloped back tenders for my water car bash … actually I tried to cancel one, but 6 months later ‘available’ came true and they sent teddy. Milk chocolate brown, was easy to chop!

Sorry no picture.

I want you to know I treated this rarity with respect …

Well all I could muster … I cut off the light and it’s stand. The chassis and trucks support a water tank.

The Maynard bragged he had a Teddy in it’s plastic wrapper…
