My outdoor line is going to be R1 curves. So I offer the following for sale. LGB 24570 SP Black Widow F7A unit, currently backdated with single beam, using mag light refelctor headlights. I can leave as is or restore it to as built by LGB. Less than 1 hour run time on indoor only layout. $399.00. LGB 24583 SP Black Widow B unit with sound. $399.00. Aristo ART46403 SP bulkhead flat car $40. Aristo ART46021 SP Overnight black box car $40. USA R12052 SP silver Trailer Train service wide vision cupola caboose with lights/flashing rear light and Kaydee body mount couplers. $50. All prices do not include shipping. What am I lookin for? I would consider a Euro theme to keep equipment small. A Staniz Euro passenger starter set, version with metal rods and the yellow screw in style headlight bulbs such as the #20301 set, these cars would also be of interest to me, 3013 dining car, 4002 cable reel car, 4010 low side gondola, any of the 2 axle beer cars. I also need more R1 curved track and some Euro buildings like a station, couple of small industies to switch and a couple of houses. The starter set would probably cover most of my R1 curved track needs. Cash or swap offers are most welcome! Looking to move fast as I am laying track in the garden right now while the weather is cool. Mike

Replies sent back to both. I also need some straight track, LGB track only please. Got the Euro pass cars covered and a Stainz. One of the little Schoma diesels would be nice, a Euro station, small one preferably as I will be modeling the Staniz line in Austria. Basicly anything Euro could be of interest. I would still like to find a 2nd Staniz loco, but the earlier version with metal valve gear and the yellow screw in headlight bulb (LGB 2020) Mike
Mike, what do you want for the USA R12052 SP piggy- back?
The piggy back service caboose? That one is $50 plus shipping. Mike
I would also be interested in one of the Corpet 0-6-0’s from LGB, prefer red but either works. I am betting that little 6 coupled tank would do ok on R1 curves and keep my Euro theme. Plus my sis has always wanted me to get one of those as she saw a red one operating while she was living in France as an exchange student a few years ago. I have the 35mm pic of it somewhere. I would also consider one of the 0-6-6-0 2085d Mallets, while I know thats pushing the limit on R1 curves, but I do so much like how that engine looks, and its colorfull. One of the older Spreewald’s in the green/red/black colors, the Green 2073d Austrian U class would be perfect to run with my Staniz, or the black 22701 U series. Just wanted to open up so options for someone that might want the B unit or everything i have left. Mike
When I was looking for prices on the Corpet-Louvet locomotive, I found this ad through Goggle. http://www.shourtline.swl4.com/LGB_21780_TA_Europa_Corpet_Gray_Steam_Loco.html It is a beautiful locomotive and surprising heavy for its size, but I noticed when hauling just 5 two-axle cars, it slowed down up the hills and speed up down the hills.
The grey version never did much for me, the red, green and red with red valve gear are very sharp. Think I like the Green 2073 and the 2085 mallet better though. More inline with my German style on my line. Great pic though Mike
Oooh, like the gray!!!
The grey “Europe” locomotive appears in my 1998 LGB Catalog for the first time that year. The grey reminds me of a locomotive in the movie Dr Zivago (sp). I really like the older 2073 Eurovapor locomotive colors, as well as the newer version in black, the U43 which is the real life stable mate to the Stainz in tourist operation. The U43 would be the most correct engine to get to model the current daily life of Staniz #2. I still have all the freight cars and the B unit with sound available, the F7a is traded to someone. MIke
Everything is gone now. Went to Watts and Dave had a collection fo stuff. My friend and I cherry picked bridges, buildings and I got a bunch of 3ft REA straight track sections for the garden line. Thanks for all the emails. Mike
