I need new axle gears on my LGB 2073D and cant seem to find them . Was wondering if anybody has used the PIKO 36181 gear set ?? Looks the same in the pics but no tech data is given to compare .

The gear sets were an LGB catalog item- 62006. Some dealers may still have them, try TrainLi in MA for starters.
