I’ve got a collection of LGB 40’ “modern” boxcars and I’m debating if I want to sell them off.
I’ve got a NP, two GN, WP and SP that come to mind right away.
Don’t have the original boxes and not sure the fair value other than under $125 and no less than $50. 
Before I decide to dump them via Facebook does anyone here have interest in them?

I buy these LGB cars on eBay without boxes in the $30.00/$35.00 range and shipping is around $10.00. I will say here I’m a modeler and I repaint them to my liking, so the road name does not matter to me, but if the road name is to your liking then you might pay according to how you value the car. In many cases not having the box can be 50% of the value of the item inside, I would keep the boxes if you want to get top dollar for your trains in the future.

The boxes are long gone. I have someone local that’s interested. But yah it’s funny how LGB stuff suddenly loses its “value” when the red boxes are included.
Great, always good to see them gone when you now longer want them.
