Has anyone installed a cab light in a LGB Mogul? If so, any recomendation to purchase a holder/bracket for the 5volt bulb to be pinned/screwed
in?

I have lit the cab on all my moguls. The method Ichose is to get from Radio Shack a bulb holder and a 14 volt bayonet style bulb – it looks like it is an older huge glass-style “jar-style” glass bulb. After attaching it parallel to the cab roof, I connected it to the same wiring that goes to the loco motor. In effect, the track power now powers the light – yes, not prototypical as likely any cab inhabitant would be blinded. However, this is the key, at night it looks great!
The two pronged lights -= 5 volts - are available from the electronics firm advertising in Model Railroader. I forgot the name, but they are listed on the page wilth the company cards. Try any electronics company. I don’t know of Radio Shack has them. I found the larger bulb in 14 volts much more interesting at night.
