I’m thinking of buying a few LGB R5 switches, have not heard much about them, so I just wanted to see if anyone had any pros/cons on these.
Upland Trains has them in stock…and I am tempted to run down there.

That’s all I use on my railroad. Including a double track x-over I made up with 4 1800.
So far- so good.
If I had any gripe, it would be the raised plastic frog that lifts the wheel more than I like.
I run batt/Rc so a plastic frog isn’t needed.
Thanks John, seems like all the old LGB track I own has held up great.
