Hi all 
A Canadian company is getting bids for tooling from their usual suppliers.
First guy to come in is the Brit. The purchasing agent shows him the drawings and the specs.
The Brit hums and ahs for a little while then tells the PA “OK, this is how it breaks down, 5K for the material, 10K for the work and 5K profit.”
PA: “OK I’ll get back to you”
Next is the German, same routine but different figures. The German guy says “It vill be 18K”
PA: “But how does it break down?”
“Oh, 6K for materials, 12K for the werk”
“No profit?”
“Sure, that is included! Always is!”
“OK I’ll get back to you”
In comes Toni the Italian, PA wants to show him the specs and the drawings. Toni tells him: “That’s OK, don’t need them”
PA: “How can you quote”
Toni: “Easy! It’s 5K for you, 5K for me and 18K for the dumb Kraut who does all the work. In total 28K!”
