This being a new camera, can it do 1080P ? I like the vids as-is, but they would be great in HiDef. Takes a long time to upload though.

Phil Creer said:Yes Phil, but there are times when I wish one could select a different depth of field, instead if fiddling with the manual focus to get a different effect. I haven't tried any of the DSLRs in video mode, but if they allow you to adjust the depth of field they have a clear advantage.

I just converted both my videos into one video @ 1080P and the total file is 1.17 GB
I burned it to a DVD and dumped it out of the 'puter.
