Large Scale Central

let's see your engines!!

I haven’t posed my locomotives like that. But most of mine aren’t them newfangled diesel-lectric thangs.

My #3 Porter with it’s new tender…

all engines are good!
U just teasing with that nose shot of the Pennsy E??
(all those engines are lined up 'cause they had to be carried outback to their new home. wish I had made bigger basement window openings)

I dunno …there so many, if I posted pics of all of them I’d overload the system.

I’ll do it this way:

The only things missing are the Hartland Woodie and the Motors 1 & 2.

I too have too many engines. I have my favorites though. Some run better than others. Some are just more “photogenic”.

Maynard I really like your second pic down!

Ok I’ll just add 2 scratched and 2 bashed of mine

Joe, no, that wasn’t meant as a tease. Actually it was captioned, on another site, as “Time rolls on”. Behind the E8 there is a derelict, narrow gauge boxcar, abandon on a abandon track.

Rooster, that picture is one my track gang is very proud of. It shows the (cough, cough) exemplary work my track gang does.

Got to excited over Roosters photo and mess up and posted twice.

GRAND kIDS AND I… lOVE THIS ONE…
EVEN HAS THE ROOSTER VAIN ON TOP… LOL.

Grand kids showing theirs. lol.

David M, I was just playing around with you.
David R, that scratch built Amtrak is a F40 somethin’? Very nice!
I need to make one to pull my train, or I’ll have to get the pepsi can dash 8.

OK so Bob doesn’t ban me for posting a brazilian pictures…

This is the roster drawing for the Gotham Transfer layout:

You might have to rotate the images once open, I have been having issues with loading pics in landscape format lately.

As you can see, collecting and building since 2000 has produced a mighty number of silly engines. There are still a few engines not on either roster that really dont fit in anywhere for the time being.

I don’t dare pose a picture, my wife might find out how much I actually have! (do ya think she knows already?)

They know everthing!

Being in a condo, I have no layout to put them on, but I took a photo of my new acquisition for my FL buddy, and realized it shows most of my stable:

Two EBT Mikados (#12 #15) are behind the #7 and #5343. There’s one more steamer in FL enjoying the summer without me.

The coach on the top shelf was out to have a coupler height changed so I can run it (and its 5 brethren) behind the Hudson.

I have these

And a few more that won’t fit on the shelves.

And now for something completely different.
