Replicate this on your garden railroad!!
I model the 1940’s, where is the caboose. It looks like a great train for an HO Modular Club to run on there modules, probably the only place it could be done. Today’s freights are pretty boring, not that there not impressive to watch.

Every time I see a long train like that I marvel at the technology (especially the steel) that holds it all together. Even with dispersed power, those couplers take a lot of strain.
Smaller consist but does Amtrak count ? Even if it did I can’t Rick but maybe if I get out to dads (Andys) with all my Amtrash I might get close?

BTW that is the Rockville Bridge and note the acknowledgment from the crew as they spotted my wave and thanks …(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
Damn, they must have been running all empties going down hill as there was no helpers in that train, just head end power(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)
Headed to Altoona and will probably pick up helpers round the horseshoe curve and over the Alleghenies. (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
Note the BNSF leased units
Pipe line (heavy) headed from Philly to Rutherford (Harrisburg) …On the old Reading line …runs right past Hershey PA (yes the chocolate) …Hollywood was along that day.
That’s all I got from this year Rick ^^^^
But I do have a new Viewliner baggage car…(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
As an “Olde Time” railroad fan, (back in the fifties, my Dad worked for the NP in St John and Rosalia, Wa.
He would take me to work with him and I would marvel at the steam switchers and early diesel switchers.)
The most boring trains today are long drags of coal, grain, stacks, oil or any other unit train.
Give me a mixed manifest any day.
Now running for cover…(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)
I agree with you a 100% John, I was just amazed by the length of the dang thing.

I didn’t realize that track behind your house was still active. Pretty cool train!
Great videos!
,
Black sedans will probably show up in front of your house because of some of these videos.
.
Your Hi-Railer is very cool! What do you think that scale speed is? Maybe a little fast. Just a little.
.
Looks like your “brown bottle buddy” over indulged, again!

Rick, they prolly split the train at some point with the “Bottle Train” going it’s separate way.
