171 too many. I never understood this practice. Despized Clinton for his poor choices. We talk about “activist judges”, seems to me this is no different, just “activist executives”. It’s the system, I don’t like it but I gotta live with it. Interested in seeing his last minute picks…
I don’t believe there is any Legislature or Judicial Branch member that would deny the rights of a “Presidential Pardon”. With the work they are in, I’m sure they all feel the day may come when they will need one. 
I always hate these Presidential pardon stories. The readers never know the circumstances involved, unless it happens to be a high profile case.
People generally dislike pardons of any kind.
An 18 year old can be convicted of drug possession and then is never again allowed to vote, or hunt.
A lifelong sentence.
I am against most pardons, because it absolves the individual of all responsibility.
I would like to see those convicted of non-violent crimes have an opportunity to have their rights restored. No pardon, but restore their basic rights as a citizen after a lengthy probation period of 10-15 years.

The miffing factor is not being able to check the CADrail and ZIMO groups, as far as some of the others … not concerned about them.
