That is one sweet looking crummy.
Just one question. How is that thing going to do any plowing if’n its at the end of the train? Just kidding.
I wonder how much ballast that would have to have to make sure the snow didn’t shove it off the tracks?
I’d say a couple spare weights out of a Dash 9 would hold it on the tracks just fine.
Behind the plow is a chunk of lead.
Under the floor is a piece of lead 1 1/2" x 8" x 3/8"
The engines will run in backwards!
Just get her done!!
YEah…I’ve seen Canadian wedge plows that really look similar …Nice job…
Here a fine example from the West Coast Railway Association website
This winter I’ll be spending a few days in Squamish - XC competitions at the 2010 Olympics venue - that should give me time to visit the museum. Finally! It’s been on the list for some time. PS Note the “wings”, not chicken wings!
HJ, since the posted colors can be fooling, do you know if it’s CN orange or a box car brown?

…with operating wings…!!
Did you build that, Ken? I’m surprized you don’t bring it to Fred’s. You know just in case.

Did you take your snow suit, just in case???
I hear he had a pair of red flannel drop bottoms with him though…
Ric Golding said:Yup, many, many years ago. The plans appeared in pre-klamback Garden Railways mag. If you'd like to see it, I'll bring up to Fred's next year or to the ECLSTS in the spring.

I thought I’d bore-assed just about everybody with pictures of it…guess I missed a few…
Sean, your plow’s a real beauty! Nice work!
I like that CN prototype plow too, with all those rivets. There’s just something about the look of rivets that is very appealing.

Yes Ray
Especially if one gets to count them.
Speaking of rivets, SWMBO will bring home a package of 1000 from Switzerland. One of the guys over there produces them to custom dimensions. Kind of nifty, but drilling all the holes could be a pain.
Snow!!!
