I was looking for a motor block for another project, and ran across a “new in box” Bachmann trolley for $50. We’re terracing the hill in the middle of the main loop. After that, I’ll set up a separate trolley loop on the lowest terrace, with a couple of station stops and pick up an auto system to run it back and forth.
What can you really do with it if you cut it up? This has troubled my mind for years as I have one…why I don’t know !
Figures are worth 5 to 10 a piece themselves

I agree, you have a troubled mind.
After so may people have reported gear failures in those Bachmann units, I passed on a deal on one a while back. Be gentle with it.
