I’ve been thinking along those lines and this made the construction look pretty easy.
Our frost depth here is 4 feet. Is it the same there?

That was built by eagle wings iron craft.
They usually have an ad in Garden Railways magazine.

I know about Eagle Wings, but was hoping for homemade.
The VGRS.US used them for our module group’s lift bridge.
Our Vermont frost depth is 4 feet and needs to be considered when placing poles in the ground.
I had a small porch that was only about 3 1/2 feet deep and 4 feet from the house lift!
