Dear All - in spite of my ham-fisted efforts at trying to build one of the last of Phil Dippel’s wonderful kits, it seems that a few of you have taken the challenge to heart to show me how it SHOULD be done.
As a result of all that publicity, Phil just emole me with this note -
ONE LEFT!!!
Tac -
When you contacted me, I had 4 MOW caboose kits left from the run. People
that changed their minds and a couple extra’s I made to take to shows.
After your comments on the Large Scale Central, Terry Burr and Jerry Barnes
picked up 2 more. I have 1 left. I’m not a member of LSC and can’t post
there. Would you mention in your posting that we talked and there is 1 more.
First come, first served. I was going to take them to the Big Train Show in
Ontario CA. but the space for the built show car and one kit isn’t worth it.
There seems to be a lot of interest on your thread so thought I’d give it
first shot at the last car. Same as the other 4, no markers and $175 +
shipping. Anyone not thinking this is a deal should visit Iron Horse
Engraving. He has a short, center cupola EBT caboose, less trucks or
couplers for $400. Another $300 if he builds it for you.
Thanks!!
Phil
You’se bin tell’t.
