Larry's 2016 Build Challenge 1.22.16 progress

Posting to LSC is somewhat complicated. Today I spent more time on getting photos into LSC than time I spent on the Lube and Oil Shed for Dave, the tin Man! Here is today’s photo. Ignore messy shop.

Dave insisted I use 1/2" birch so it will hold together. Note the 122.5 3’ x 3’ window with shutters for ventilation. I hope I can recall all of the steps to post photos next week. NOMFNM… [New Old Man From NM]

Jan 22 progress on Lube Shack

you will remember that perfectly, when you are OOMFNM instead of NOMFNM…

Normally it’s not to bad once you get the hang of it. Just takes a bit of time to get the routine down if you do it often enough.

Down load it from the camera, edit it, rename it, upload to your server then post it.

Messy shop??? Looks clean and well used to me…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

If I cleaned up my shop, besides occasionally sweeping the floor; I wouldn’t be able to find anything !

I say, “Sweep the floor”, rather than using a vacuum, because while sweeping, I seem to find all sorts of good junk, besides grindings, dust, dead mice, flies, and the odd bheer bottle or cap. All these are signs of a busy shop, where visitors, and friends are welcome. Up until the finding of the dead mouse; I didn’t think I had any pets…or pests…!!

Are you still up, Ken ?

Hey just for the record you may want to move this thread to the build challenge forum.

But other than that the building is looking fantastic

Nice start!
