Taking my yearly trip to Charles Ro in Malden Ma. To look around on Friday 11/11 (Veterans Day)
Any other stores left around that area that have any Large Scale trains?
I know Country Trains in Swansea MA will be open, he does have a lot of new-old stock (cash only)
Just looking for ideas while I have cash in hand!
You might want to try Duxbury Green http://www.yellowpages.com/duxbury-ma/mip/duxbury-green-8578250?lid=8578250
Down by rt3/ rt44 area
I know Trainli is in Upton, MA.

A block away from my house!
Chuck really doesnt sell large scale anymore, I used to buy all my LGB from him. Now he just has a few bits and pieces left up in the attic.
Trainli is located in Upton, ma, approx. 35 miles west of Boston. Call before you visit as it is a home not a store but has lots of large scale items.
From Charley it is almost an hour drive, but going back to RI you can take route 146 South from there.
Duxbury Green is South of Boston off route 3 and you should call to be sure Neil is there.
Dan,
Thanks for the correction of the town name for Trainli(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-embarassed.gif)

I sent a email to Trainli to see if I could stop in and have not received a response.
I have found Duxbury Green to be a hit or miss. He has lots of trains but they are pricey and you need to climb over boxes and junk to get to them.
The owner Neil is a character to talk with.
There is another train shop in Abington MA. on Route 123 “Bill’s friendly trains” I think it is called. That shop has all scales but I found his large scale to be top dollar. Some of the red LGB boxes near the front window have faded to pink.
Neil at Duxbury Green does get in used stuff and he will deal.
None of these stores compare to Charles Ro.
