Did manage to run trains today. Weather was beautiful.
My brother made the first track inspection run.
The Railtruck made its debut for testing. Lights need to be hooked up. Soon headed to the Coachworks.

Ralph it’s looking good there. How’s that high line looking ?
The high line is holding its own. Not running trains on it yet. Have to get off my a** and finish it

The sun was a problem for us too

Great shots Ralph. The sun was a problem here as well Woke up to a nice chilly morning with a temps in low 40’s. I even had the holiday off for once. I ran a few of my 2 axle cars with the rogers.
Looks like fun…
A beautimus day here, too!
If there’s anything of less than divinity caliber perfection those babies will certainly tell you where it is. Funny how you don’t much hear “That’s not fair, the guy with the Annie always gets to go first!” Is it just me or is that headlight a little upwards of horizontal?

Could be. That’s the second time my brother crashed it. I didn’t have any problems with the curve Ralph
Ralph-
You have at least two Bachmann motive products (“goose” and Annie) – any running problems? If so, what was your solution?
Many thanks.
Wendell
Wendell - I have three Bachmann Shays - a second series with the improved plastic trucks and a second series with metal trucks, and a three-truck - all run perfectly and always have done. The oldest is now over ten years old BTW and is a great exhibition runner.
My Annie was one of the very first to appear on sale - again, a perfect runner.
The Connie was in need of tightening up the counterweights, and had the motor-mount mod done as a matter of course - again - a perfect runner since then.
The Climax - perfect.
The Heisler - destroyed by driving over it at an exhibition last month - not by me, I hasten to add - and I’m waiting to find a nice one. Prior to that it was a good runner.
So, mostly good experiences from Bachmann on the VBR.
