Kristi is home

She is home but there is a lot to work through yet. Won’t know if the clots are dissolving for a week or two. Doctors won’t let her do much cause of the chance of falling and start bleeding again. She don’t have much strength anyway and someone (me) has to do almost everything for her.
I’m going to try to start working on the backlog of stuff in the shop. Don’t know how much or how fast I will get stuff done but it is nice to be home where I can do something other than watch TV or do puzzles.

Thanks for all the prayers.

Rodney

I can’t imagine how good it must feel for her to be home! Excellent news, glad to hear it!

Don’t forget about yourself either…

Glad to hear you’re both home. I’m sure there is a lot of comfort in that for you both.
Ralph

Rodney, that’s good news… I just hope Kristi recvoers and doesn’t try and push herself too hard…
Best of luck, to you both…

Rodney,
Great to hear!

Grand news, We’ll keep the prayers coming.

Great news, Rodney. Shoot me an email when you get through the back log to my stuff as its changed a bit.

Again, great news.

Good news Rodney. I hope things continue to improve.

That’s so nice to hear, Rodney. Make sure she keeps rested and doesn’t try to help you! Good luck.

Good to hear Rodney. Good luck on the continued recovery.

Thats great to hear Rodney. Dont worry about the project you and I have been working on. I haven’t been able to get started on it anyways. Like I said before if I can get my Accucraft loco off the bench and done I’ll work on the other and write the instructions for you.

Glad to hear that she is home, Rodney.

It will be hard to keep her down, but you will have to do that, even if you have to “tie” her to the couch.

I truly believe that without all the prayers from everyone, that she wouldn’t be here. I guess I’m a little over protective right now, so we don’t have to go through all of this again. We are praying that the clots start dissolving and then she can start working on getting her strength built back up. Our daughter is going to be here to be with Kristi after church tomorrow so I will be able to work some in the shop. I will try to get some metal casting done for trucks and other parts that I need to get out. Next I’ll try to get all the masters done for the new epoxy frogs that I’ll be using on switches Also here is a project that is started and will be working on. 20.3 scale DRGW L-105 standard gauge challenger. The frame is almost all done and working on the gearboxes.

That is a Bachmann K-27 in the back to show how large this thing will be. I hope to get it to operate on 24’ diameter curves.

Rodney,
Glad to hear the good news, hope to hear of more progress.

THat CHallenger is COOL! What size track will it run on?

Jerry

Track is 20.3 standard gauge (track gauge is 2.781"). Dave Queener sells 20.3 tie strips for both duel and standard gauge.

Dave Queener did all the machine work on the drivers and also made the front pilot truck.

Hey Rodney,

Glad to hear that you guys are home and your wife is doing better. Family is a great thing to have when you need a little help.

Chuck

I’m happy to hear of Kristi’s progress, and I hope and pray that her condition will continue to improve, with a swift and full recovery.

A 1:20.3 Challenger?! Awesome! Can’t wait to see how that turns out.

Great news Rodney, glad to hear Kristi is home and hope she progresses well.

Chris
