Many, many thanks to Ken for getting us all together again! What a GREAT time! I only took a few pictures, but, WOW, I sure had fun this weekend!
We came a bit late on Friday and everyone had already gone to dinner! (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-frown.gif)Still, it was just fun to look around - and EMPTY my car!
On Saturday, all the “cool” folk showed up with their wonderful models.
Here’s Cliff and Dave Marconi. Crud - I did NOT know it was wear your cool hat day (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)
Apparently Bo was the only guy smart enough to hang around the ladies…that’s Bev, Jan, and Jean. (Along with Bo!)
I took on the yardmaster duties and had a great time. I will definitely do THAT again.
Here, Ric gets ready to take out train #1. The Railpro controller was VERY interesting.
We also had some interesting “people” attend… Here’s Rooster, “Jane-ah” (that is NOT the right spelling, but it’s what it sounds like), and Rooster’s Dad, good ol’ whats-his-name?
Sure, we didn’t run all THAT many trains, but it was great seeing every one again.
My favorite part was getting Cliff into operations. (There’s just no hope for Roosters that don’t have cool hats! (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif))
Looks like Ric is getting to run train #2 from Porter…
Meanwhile, Charles & Jon are working Dolores
Needless to say, there’s a LOT of strange things around when a Rooster shows up.
But, I don’t think Jon & Charles have made ANY progress…(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)
It’s just a good thing that there IS time for pictures!
But, we did discover that the dogs like balls better than trains!
What fun! Thanks again to Ken for hosting this wonderful event. Well done.
