Just to second Ralph B’s post. I have 7-8yrs of law enforcement background, and as a private person you are “innocent until proven guilty” As a law enforcement officer, believe me you are “guilty until proven innocent”. And that plays out everyday with the public, and sometimes with law enforcement personel. A few of the people who have posted seem to forget that he was NEVER convicted on anything. And before you comment on paying off the kid, his lawyers told him, it was the best thing for him to do at the time, (that’s called lawyers advice) and not for the reasons you are thinking of. Watch the interviews now with the attorneys that represented him. They didn’t think his health at the time would allow him to go through what it would take to get physically through the trial. The guy is deceased, and there are really only 3 people that know the “TRUTH” that is MJ, the kid or kids, and God. He will be judged accordingly, so alot of people have convicted him in the press, and in life everywhere and always will, and everyone is entitled to they’re opinions, but that is all it is!!! He was NEVER convicted of anything. I will remember him for his music and the pleasure through his concert we went to in 88-89 that my 9yr old daughter and i experienced at his concert in Denver. Cheryl Crow was just starting out with him and did a duet with her that was really out of this world, a real sentimental, tear jerker. And the concert was great, people were there from 5-80 and the old ones i remember a specific couple was dressed in yellow and black just like MJ. That’s just my view, and or opinion, and I’m sticking to it… The Regal
