Kalamazoo stuff wanted

Looking for any unwanted Kalamazoo items. From 4-4-0’s, 0-4-0’s, rolling stock ect. The Xmas 3 car passenger train, MCRR 3 car Passenger train, UP Observation coach are high on the list. I already have the black DRGW and xmas colors MCRR 4-4-0’s. Many might think those old 4-4-0’s are butt ugly, but I like them and with onboard batteries they run very nicely with short, lightweight trains. I have 2 Marklin gauge 1 items I would swap for Kalamazoo stuff. one is the strip down version of the Henschel DHG500 diesel switcher(lacks end hand rails and lights) and a high side gondola. The runs well, needs AC power as its set up right now, but you can get a different permanant magnet field winding thru ESU to full convert to DC. I have the reverse unit locked in one direction, so it will run on DC now, just in one direction only. Marklin uses a 20vt burst of DC to trip the reverse unit when running on AC power. Both are in good shape, no boxes but would be carefully packed for shipping. Thanks Mike

Since they are taking up valuable shelf space, and since they will never be run on my railroad, I am open to offers. PM me and I am sure we could hammer something out.

I also need a plain/undec Hartland box car for making a custom Autism Awareness/Acceptance car. My Euro passenger car I have done up for it doesnt look right behind the 4-4-0. Also looking for 2 micro DPDT toggles with a center off position. I doubt the army diesels are kalamazoo, didnt know they did any diesels. I was only aware of the 0-4-0 and 4-4-0 engines from Kalamazoo.

Rename your files to eliminate all Spaces, that is your problem. Every %20 is computer speak for nothing, a blank. Use a- or a _ instead.

Not sure what is going wrong Paul. I highlighted your link and put it in the address bar and hit go. I got the pic and then copied the image location and pasted it in the photo attachment box. Worked like a charm but I can answer why. When I pasted the link in your post it didn’t work. I had to open it in a new browser then copy that link.

Part of the issue was that the photo URL wasn’t posted with the “insert picture” button. That’s the little icon with the mountain and moon in it.

Thanks. I am espcialy looking for the UP Observation car and another UP coach to complete the train. Once I have those, and funds permit, I want the 3 red MCRR passenger train cars. But I wont turn down any Kalamazoo stuff I don’t already have. I picked up a yard to mow each week, so that will give me $15 spending money each week. That will help get me some of the cars. Mike

I have some spare parts for Kalamazoo, mostly the 0-4-0 tank engine. If you search Ebay for Kalamazoo G-scale stuff comes up too. I have picked up stuff there… Travis…

I have a spare set of drivers for the 0-4-0 but no engine, spare motor with only 1 worm on it, other end is a bare shaft, and 3 motor blocks. I wouldnt mind having one of the 0-4-0’s in good shape, just have to put the battery in either a tender or a trailing car. The 2 Marklin items are collecting dust on a shelf, if anybody has any interest, please speak up. Need them replaced with something I can use. Mike

Mike, I would trade my Kalamazoo boxcars for that locomotive, assuming that it runs.
