The Bachmann K-27 Snow Plow seems oversized to me, I know its correct but still seems large. Think it would fit a K-36? At $200 for an accucraft K-36 plow that’s out of my budget right now.

I had lots of trouble trying to get the Bachmann K-27 plow to fit on my 1:22.5 KISS K-36. And it didn’t look too good after all the cutting I had to do on the back of the plow to get it to fit on top of the front beam of the loco. And this was on a 1:22.5 scale loco.
So I’m doubtful it would be any easier on the larger 1:20.3 Accucraft K-36.
Can you even find an Accucraft K-36 plow? I thought these were sold out…meaning the standard K-36 plow, not the #486 specific model.
It should fit. I put one on a Connie along with the K.
Accucraft has the plow with the holes on each side for the pilot beam in stock. But $200 plus is to high right now.
I will bow to Matt’s experience with it, since he’s already done it.
