Hi,
I just signed up on LSC. Been on MLS, but thought I’d like to look around here also. Us retired guys, ya’ know! I’m Jerry Barnes over there, not sure how I will show up here, name wise. Jerry
Welcome, Jerry!!
We just use our real names here, all that code stuff is for lil kids.

Hi Jerry,
Bring a hard hat and a cup!
Jack
Good to see you here, Jerry…a pleasure to make your aquaintence.
We aren’t too hard to take; just keep your funny bone in good shape, and don’t take anyone too seriously, unless they are actually trying to help you when you have a question.
When help is needed, the guys here take it seriously and are very generous with their experience and generosity.
There are probably more LS Model Railroaders here than Garden Railroaders, but the name of the game is still having fun…
Welcome aboard, Jerry. This is a great place to be. I know you like to scratch build so you are in good company here. Not much here in the way of live steam but you and your advice on that subject are quite welcome. There are a couple others here that dabble in live steam…
Now I’m gonna catch it from Terry…
Bheer is in the frig…and Bart’s in charge of the coffee pot.

I see you gave up on the TOG nic…
Jerry, Welcome to LSC. I’m sure you will find several familiar names here. Some of Jerry’s scratchbuilding running on the HedgeApple RG RR.
JimC.
Howdy Jerry! Welcome aboard.
Hi Jerry,
Welcome aboard. You have the mid-watch.
Up and Forward on the Starboard Side, Down and Aft on the Port Side.
GQ goes shortly after Quarters, followed by Firefighting Drills shortly after 4 Bells in the Forenoon Watch.
Sometimes you will need thick skin, but we all give as good as we get.
Your status here is determined by how well you hold up when the MPs are closing in.
As has been said, spirits are in the frige, and Bart is the Coffee Mess honcho.
Again, Welcome aboard.

Welcome aboard Jerry
I think most everyone else has described the site well enough and the denizens herein. And I would agree with the L.S. model railroaders than Garden railroaders comment as well.

Welcome Jerry…Coffees ready…

'cept that some of us here have got really tricky names that can cause some confunglement. I just get called tac because when I first signed up on an internet forum it couldn’t cope with my rather odd name. It suggested tac, and it stuck.
Anyway, welcome over here! We’re a rough and ready bunch to tell the truth, and like any family, we squabble. But we generally mimble along, rather like the trains we all love.
Graders!

Welcome Jerry......Coffees ready.........
BTW on that coffee that Bart serves … well let’s hope that SheWhoCleans didn’t get hold of the pot or the mugs!
PS I have just noted that SheWhoCleans is now officially known as PAM. I can hardly wait to find out what those three letters stand for.

Welcome Jerry! I’m a newby around here too,. but I’ve already been harrassed for spelling my name wrong in high Canadian society. I just sign things Poss.

Hey Jerry…I just noticed we’re practically neighbors! I’m just south of Ashland on US23, I think you may be the closest Large Scaler to me that I’m aware of…
Hmmm.
Now we have to change any pre-conceived ideas about people named “Jerry”.
We have one now who can think for himself.
Amazing!
Welcome aboard.
L O Jerry…
