Just in case someone asks

Hi all,

Occasionally - when the fur flies and the feathers get ruffled - one may refer to a certain fraternity as “TWITS”.

If anyone should ask, here is my definition of “TWITS”

as I say.... just in case. :) :D ;)

and here all this time I thought it was a contraction of “Nitwits”…

I like that word “TWITS”…I’ve used it many times to get the “NitWits” stirred up with emotion…!!!

Fr. Fred,

It seems to strike a chord with some people.

Treating it as an acronym slows them down a tad, they have to make sure that they have the right interpretation for the words.

Time for a review of the word “TWITS”…scroll back on this forum, and learn

Fred dug this up from the archives. But I have been wondering where HJ has been, as well as Ric and Ken. Ralph

I too wondered but was afraid to post lest I step into something I should have known…where is he? Heck, several references to LGB/Marklin didn’t even drag him out of the woodwork…

Well, Ralph, Ken’s been on the road since the 24th…just got back yesterday. Sat in St Augustine for 30 hours waiting on a backhaul and never did get one. Told’em I’d be heading north as far as 11 hours would get me and stretched it to 15 and was eatin breakfast in my kitchen at 8am yesterday.

Haven’t done much RR stuff since we’ve been re-doin the inside of the house. Got some closet doors to paint and hang and some trim work to finish…That and mainly hibernating waitin on the snow and ice to melt.

Gee Ken,
Having all that fun with out us
Welcome back. Glad to see you made it home OK.
Ralph

I gotta couple extra paint brushes…your welcome to join the fun…

PS…Ralph, your last name shows up here as B _ R G …is this a computer glitch or are you making some kind of statement?

Ric's been on a mini vacation and convention.... He's due back this evening.... Basically, he went south, before the snow came....

just for info…

Sure not about trains. Later RJD

I do remember a birth in the Golding family. The trip would be tied to that.

If Ric returns this evening and reads this:
WELCOME BACK RIC,
You were missed…

Isn’t it a nice warm and cosy feeling, to be missed ?

No.
I googled my name one day and had to wade through a ton of LSC posts. So I’m trying to see if this will keep it from expanding.
For those that don’t remember, it is an “E”
Ralph

It is interesting, to Google one’s name. You see many things you can feel proud for stating, and at the same time, see things you wish you had not had anything to do with.
All in all, most will find out if they have made any difference, in a positive manner, by making any statements at all.

Generally; if you have some positive thoughts; state them, and enjoy debating with friends, on how to move forward towards a better World for everyone. This includes Life in general, and here on LSC, the enjoyment of a great hobby.

I’m not ashamed of anything I’ve said or done.
But LSC gets a good bit of hits.
If I was to open a ralphberg.com site or a business containing my name, it would be buried in the search engines by the LSC posts.

Fred, actually, the birth was the Friday before they left, and the birth was here…
