This is the second Class A Climax logging locomotive I built well over 15 years ago. It never ran prototypically slow on track power. It always required me to juice the power in order to keep it from sputtering and stuttering. Now with dead rail battery power and the Poor Man’s Throttle (PMT) installed I can run it at the slow speed it should be running at.
